Yes, yes, we know. Everyone’s buzzing about songbird/diva Whitney Houston’s appearance on the Grammy stage last night. Was there something wrong with her? Was she having trouble pronouncing words or reading the teleprompter? Was she bleary-eyed? Is she having problems again?

We don’t know about any of that.

But we do know that her gorgeous strapless pleated, flowing, blue and white gown was by Zuhair Murad. The delicate fabric was draped but still showed a lot of leg, the waist was accented with a fabric tie and a glittering sequined embellishment. 

The dress was from Murad’s 2009 resort collection. Houston was glittering in lots of Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, as well. Schwartz has been the darling of the red carpet this year, her jewelry showing up on dozens of celebs on multiple awards shows this year.  

And, maybe she was having a hard time. But at least she wasn’t covered in sequined fruit like Katy Perry.
