Everyone knows the best things come in small packages, e.g. diamonds and babies. (Well, except for a car, a house or a pony.) We’ve rounded up some penny-wise “little somethings” that may not be as exciting as a diamond, but they’re practical and shrunken for your amusement.

Flight 001 creates fun and useful gadgets for stylish travelers with their just-about-anything in travel-size. A few of our favorites are the SheMergency survival kit ($25, above left), because , well, we women can be walking soap operas at times and ”emergencies” happen. In this kit you’ll find everything from earring backs to breath freshener.

The hang-out hammock ($17, above right) is a full-sized hammock for park- and nature-goers that folds up into a tiny ball. Thus, you can have your daydreaming, kissing, reading or resting sessions anywhere you can find two trees.

Go for the mini purse-shaped handbag hangers ($40, above left) so she can easily display her new YSL. Then treat your little princess with silver-plated fashion jacks ($60, above right) in the shape of mini heels and purses. Did we mention they’re detailed with crystals?

And we wonder why our young ones expect iPhones and Louis Vuittons before they can spell “spoiled.”

Okay, enough of the mini stuff. Ever look at something and wonder, Wouldn’t that be cool if I could just make this a gazillion times bigger? Like a Ken doll when the pickings are slim at happy hour, or your Chihuahua’s bomber jacket that resembles a Marc Jacobs.
